Aunt Else's Æbleskiver Mix - Organic Family Recipe
We package our time-tested, 100+ year old family recipe using Mid-western organic wheat flours, and local buttermilk. Aunt Else's makes it easy to make great tasting æbleskiver at home. Simply add fresh eggs and water, and you're ready to get cooking! We produce each package of our mix by hand in a licensed facility in Minneapolis, MN. Each full box of mix weighs 27.5 ounces, and makes a double batch, or about 45 æbleskiver. Instructions for making a single batch are included on the package as well.
Aunt Else's Gluten-Free Æbleskiver Mix
Aunt Else's has adapted our family recipe to produce the only gluten-free aebleskiver mix on the market today! Same great taste, just no gluten! Aunt Else's uses an amazing gluten-free all-purpose flour from Meister's Gluten Free Mixtures. The mix does contain soy, milk, and is produced on separate equipment in the same licensed facility as our flour mix.

Aunt Else's 9-Hole Cast Iron Æbleskiver Pan
Aunt Else's own design! Our high quality cast iron æbleskiver pan allows you to make 9 æbleskiver at a time. The pans are proudly made right here in Minneapolis, Minnesota and comes with a lifetime manufacturer's guarantee. The pan is 8" wide and is 13 3/4" long, the holes or wells are 2 1/4" in diameter and 1 1/8" deep. These pans work perfectly on gas, electric, glass or ceramic (see NOTE), and even magnetic induction stove tops.

NOTE: While our family has always cooked with cast iron on ceramic stove tops without any issues, we have learned that some ceramic cook top manufacturers recommend against it. Please refer to your owners manual to avoid any problems.

Handle Hot Pad (Pot holder)
This is the hot pad we include in the Starter Kit. The hot pad makes it really convenient to use your cast iron æbleskiver pan. However, they are flammable so don't leave it on the handle while you are cooking! (Especially if you have a gas stove)

Stainless Steel Chopstick
This is the chop stick we include in the Starter Kit for turning the æbleskiver as they cook. The old Danish cookbooks would tell you to use a knitting needle or a crochet hook. Lisa & Linda swear by the knitting needle, but Chad finds the blunt end of the chopstick makes it a little easier to make the turns, plus the chopstick is made to be used with food!

Large Plastic Squeeze Bottle
This is the bottle we use for our batter when making dozens of æbleskiver at a time at our local Farmer's Market. We cut the tip down to it's widest point which makes it pour quickly and still control the amount of batter going into each well of your æbleskiver pan. Getting the right amount of batter takes time to master and this bottle can help!

Small Plastic Squeeze Bottle
This is the oil bottle we have switched to at the Mill City Farmer's Market. They don't break and are a quick and easy way to squirt a small amount of oil in each well of the pan. I like this bottles' compact size and the fact that it is shatter proof. I use regular old vegetable oil, but we've heard of folks using butter, lard, and olive oils with a high smoke point.
